David's new album is called, Closer.
Back in the day here, he was talking about A Change
of Heart, which remains one of my favorites just as he
remains one of the coolest people I've ever interviewed.
P.S. By way
of full disclosure, I did use a taste of Dave's music
in Nick-Cam, so I
may owe him some money and/or he may owe me a Cease and Desist.

Marty talks about his animated cartoon series, The Completely
Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley, various characters, his
HBO specials, and upcoming projects which by now have already
happened. (time-25:47)
Is "Ghost Dad" a great movie? Let Bill decide.
Also why your kids should go to college if they don't want
to end
up working in the pudding factory. (time-23:59)
"Scrooged" is the main topic as Bill peels and
eats an apple, walks around the room and celebrates his brothers,
busses that accommodate the handicapped and night blooming
jasmine. The guy is pure charm. Enjoy. (18:38)
Her latest release was "The Rhythm Is Gonna Get You," as
Glo talks about her husband, Emilio, her son, Najib and her
new top billing in Miami Sound Machine. (time-30:43)
On the brink of her huge re-emergence, Tina talks about
her childhood, her mother, her solo career and crazy nights
with Mick Jagger, as she delicately avoids mentioning why
she left Ike. (9:34)
Riding the wave of her newest hit, "Love Overboard," Gladys
discusses her music, her family and specifically, her son,
Shanga and their shared love of professional wrestling. (36:40)
Interviewed by: Louise Palanker and a gaggle of love-giddy
interns
I must have let every female staffer join me here, because
the result is a fairly disjointed interview that probably
left Jon very eager to excuse himself in search of safe harbor.
(time-15:29)
This man is a hero of mine so it was an honor to speak with
him. At the time, he was producing "The Powers That
Be,"
an excellent political satire which was pre-maturely cancelled
by the NBC powers that were. He talks here about his life,
his career and his creative process. (time-20:20)
The man is a genius, so listen to the interview. It will
be time well spent away from what you really should be doing.
Oh, and the seven words are all here... in a row. (time-21:08)
We visited Julio at 1100 Bel Air Place to discuss his album
and other intriguing topics such as women, excercise,
and "The Bitch Boys." Whether you can fully understand
him is not the point. Soak in whatever wisdom you can, for
this interview will be the topic of schollarly debate
for
generations
to
come.
(time-47:12)
One of Donny's first interviews after the release of "Soldier
of Love," Donny speaks here about his "comeback," his childhood
and his love of music. This guy is just as cool as you would
hope him to be. (time-33:02)
Interviewed by: Louise Palanker, Tony Hudson and Sharon
Steiner
We travelled by plane, train, trolley, subway and taxi to
find Steve, Jon, and Neal Schon in an unmarked
factory warehouse, rehearsing for a tour. Enjoy this. They
are fun and loud, even when they' talk. (time-46:23)
Mike was in a prone position throughout this
interview. He talked. I listened, nodded and asked him, "how
does that make you feel?" The session brought to the surface
intense feelings of rivalry between Mike and Mick Jagger.
It was very cleansing,. (time-8:51)

Big Ron O'Brian
Yes, tragically, Huey was gang-interviewed. Possibly, because
this was one of my first interviews and I was not
trusted
by the
KIIS jocks. (Justifiable since I sucked). Additioinally,
there was a deep " Huey love" permeating the
station,
but, you know what? A little "us time" for me and Huey would
have meant a lot
to him... OK, to me. (time-25:01)

I love this band. John and Justin
are very cool and very mysterious and very
polite about being asked questions they would have to be
sick of answering. (time-15:39)

Chicago is production assistant, Sharon Steiner's favorite
band so she was very interested in how "new guy" Jason Scheff
was fitting in. As this interview and history shows us, he
fits in just fine. (time-15:58)
This interview marks my historic first meeting with building-mate
and good friend, Diane Warren. Michael's advice to us...
"You two should hang out. You're both nuts." (time-47:42)

Interviewed by: Louise Palanker and Mary Lyons
This conversation took place during the TV Nation days.
We journalists had to double up. (he's pretty popular) and
I got to share him with Mary Lyons from AP. (she's pretty
cool) (time-19:17)
I had the chance to spend a day on the set of
Saturday Night Live. It was amazing, as illustrated by this
interview
with two of the funniest men on earth. Three, if you count
the cameo appearance by Kevin Nealon.
(time-40:06)
After leaving Chicago and enjoying a huge hit with "The
Glory Of Love," Peter talked to us about corners and windows
and fears and challenges and teeth. (time-38:46)
This interview took place on Willie's tour bus in the Tonight
Show parking lot. The hum of the bus and the smoke inside
the bus were equally thick. Hopefully, you can hear well
enough to enjoy. (time-24:10)
One of the most intelligent, magnetic people I've ever met.
It's worth putting up with me to listen to Mr. Sheen speak.
(I'm not kissing up. It's really true. (time-35:47)
